On the day there will be 5 events:
* 5 a-side football
* 100 meters race
* 400 meters race
* 4x 100 meters relay race
* Standing Long Jump
* Javelin Throw
* Bible Trivia to finish the day off and determine the winner!
Terms and Conditions:
Seeing as this organisation is a growing one, we will only be able to accommodate the first 10 churches that sign up and fulfil our terms and conditions. If you do not hear from us within 1 week of registration via email (please make sure to pay attention to your inbox and to spam folders) then it means that you were outside the first 10 to register. Please do not be heartbroken as your registration will be prioritised for our next event.
1. We have a strict quota system to keep the games fair and they are as follows:
* Each church must provide a minimum of 10 athletes for the day. Failure to provide at least 10 athletes will lead to an automatic disqualification.
* For 5 a-side football, all participants must be male and 16+ for the sake of safety and avoiding any injuries. There will be rolling substitutions for 5 a-side. Any player can come on and off the pitch at anytime without the whistle being blown, as long as each team has only 5 players on the pitch at any time.
* No more than 10 males can be on one 5 a-side football team.
* The males who will be playing 5 a-side football will not be permitted to participate in any other sports, however they will be permitted to participate in the Bible Trivia Competition at the end of the Sports Day. This rule is to keep things fair between boys and girls.
* 100 Meters athletes - boys must be between ages 13 and 16 and girls must be 13 upwards.
* 400 Meters athletes - boys must be between ages 13 and 16 and girls must be 13 upwards.
* 4x 100 Meters relay - boys must be between ages 13 and 16 and girls must be 13 upwards.
* Standing Long Jump athletes - boys must be between ages 13 and 16 and girls must be 13 upwards.
* Javelin Throw athletes - boys must be between ages 13 and 16 and girls must be 13 upwards.
* Bible Trivia Athletes can be of any age or sex and there must be 4 people on each Bible Trivia team to participate in Bible Trivia.
2. Every member of each team MUST participate in at least one sport (excluding Bible Trivia).
3. Every Team Captain is responsible for their team. Team Captains must ensure that their team members arrive on the sports ground on time and in the right colours, ready to commence the day. Lateness will lead to a deduction in overall points and may cost teams a position on the leader board.
4. Every team must be ready to pay a £50 sum fee one month prior to the Sports Day in order to participate.
5. The first 10 teams to register using the form below will be invited into a WhatsApp Group chat where all relevant information concerning the Sports Day will be discussed including confirmation of £50 registration fee payment. Only Team Captains will be added to this Group Chat and once the Sports Day is over, the Group Chat will be dissolved.
6. All teams must take note that the registration fee is not refundable under any circumstances including scenarios where teams choose not to continue with their participation. Team disqualification due to failure to arrive on the sports ground with a complete team is also not grounds for a refund. Failure to achieve placement on the leader board is not grounds for a refund.
